From October 14 to 15, 2021, the inaugural meeting of the international mountain agricultural science and technology innovation alliance and the third international mountain agriculture seminar, jointly sponsored by Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Aba Prefecture People's government, undertaken by Jiuzhaigou County People's government and Aba Prefecture Agricultural and rural Bureau, supported by the International Mountain comprehensive development center and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, were held in Jiuzhaigou. Dr. Baima Jiangcuo, director general of the International Center for Integrated Mountain development, attended the meeting and delivered a speech by video; LV Huoming, Secretary of the Party committee of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Feng Zhongwu, Secretary General of the national agricultural science and technology innovation alliance and vice president of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Xu Bin, chief agronomist of the Provincial Department of agriculture and rural areas; Luo Zhenhua, deputy secretary of Aba Prefecture CPC Committee and governor, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
Li Peiwu and Luo Xiwen, academicians of the Chinese Academy of engineering, hornan Viola, agricultural counsellor of the Argentine Embassy in China, Xu Jianchu, chief scientist of the World Agroforestry center, arada, Professor of the Institute of farmland and renewable energy crops of the Ministry of agriculture of Thailand, and Yang Wuyun, vice president of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, made keynote reports. Mou Jinyi, deputy secretary of the Party committee and President of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, presided over the meeting.
With the theme of "green innovation • high quality and efficiency", the conference is divided into three stages: on-site observation, theme meeting and Young Scientist Forum. Before the meeting, the participants observed the ginseng and American ginseng understory ecological cultivation base in zhangzha Town, the new fruit fungus model demonstration base in Shuanghe Town, and the alpine grape + forage ecological base in Shuanghe Town, and jointly witnessed the inauguration of Sichuan Grape Industry Technology Research Institute (Jiuzhaigou). At the meeting, LV Huoming, Secretary of the Party committee of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, signed an online memorandum of scientific and technological cooperation with PEMA gyantsho, director general of the international mountain comprehensive development center. Mou Jinyi, President of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Hernan voila, agricultural counselor of the Argentine Embassy in China, signed a framework agreement on promoting international mountain agricultural development cooperation. After Zhang Xiong, vice president of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, signed the establishment agreement of the international mountain agricultural science and technology innovation alliance with the head of the office of the national agricultural science and technology innovation alliance, the representatives of the member units of the alliance jointly signed the establishment agreement of the international mountain agricultural science and technology innovation alliance, read out the Declaration on the establishment of the innovation alliance, and awarded cards to the representatives of the governing units. The conference also held the Third International Symposium on mountain agriculture Young Scientists Forum, and 18 young scientists from the International Alliance for mountain agricultural science and technology innovation made academic reports.
